The karate program is instructed by Vince Santana.  Vince is a Fresno Police Reserve Sergeant and a holds a Black Belt title in Traditional Karate.  He donates his time to teach Karate to the youth at Edison Computech, which is located in south west Fresno.  The participants have developed their self discipline, physical and mental conditioning, and have a great deal of respect for others.  Many of the Fresno PAL's Karate students have become Black Belts and are now donating their time to mentor the current PAL participants.   This unique program is completely self sufficient and is managed solely by the instructor and his volunteers.  The instructor limits the class size to 25 participants and there is an on-going waiting list for the class.
